Louisa Thomson and her Labour councillor colleagues in the Stoke Newington Central ward have for some time now been sending out a monthly E-newsletter entitled We Love Stoke Newington. Lordship ward Labour councillors have also established a website.

Aside from the slightly gushing title, it's an informed and positive précis of what's happening in the parish, ranging through Council news, local meetings and dates, licensing and environmental issues, planning applications, specific issues of local concern, councillor surgeries, and so on Louisa and her colleagues are to be applauded for their efforts.

Since we put this up this morning (Wednesday 16 June), we have been informed by Edward Brown and Daniel Stevens, newly elected Labour councillors for the Lordship ward, that they too have posted a site, on www.lordshipn16.com. Again, interesting reading, and we're sure they'll be interested to hear about forthcoming events in their area.
